Returns & Refunds Policy

Your right to return

We want you to love your Scent of Adventure order. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you have the right to return most items within 14 days of receipt under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

What can be returned

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in their original condition

  • In original packaging, undamaged and resaleable

  • Returned within 14 days of the delivery date

Please note — the following cannot be returned:

  • Made-to-order and personalised products (including bespoke candles and diffusers created to your brief) — these are exempt from the standard return right under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations unless faulty

  • Items that have been burned, used or opened for hygiene reasons

How to return

To initiate a return, please contact us at [email] within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and the reason for your return. We will confirm your return by email and provide the return address.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

Return postage

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless:

  • The item arrived damaged or faulty

  • You received the wrong item

In these cases we will cover the cost of return postage and send a prepaid label.

We strongly recommend using a tracked service for your return as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.

Faulty or damaged items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us at [email] within 48 hours of receipt with your order number and photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible — no need to return the item in most cases.

Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return your original order for a refund and place a new order.

Bespoke & corporate orders

Bespoke commissions, corporate gifting orders and personalised products are non-refundable unless faulty. Any issues with bespoke orders should be raised within 48 hours of receipt.
